i kinda hope they publish count cain in the US. i really want to buy them, and the only way i currently have of getting the books is by asking some relatives in Taiwan. since they dont just rush out to get the books, and since we use the cheapest shipping there is, it takes nearly 3 months to get one book :/ *and jenny wants to show friends cain [img]biggrin.gif[/img] * lol. ^_^

I like scanslations, but if I like something enough and it gets licensed, I'll gladly buy it in hard copy. We'll see how Viz does. They have been printing their manga unflipped as of late, but I haven't seen it as cheap as $8 in my area. It's more like $10 for the newer editions. I still would've prefered TokyoPop to do it as they seem to be more on the ball, but then again, I'm not exactly proficient in Japanese so I may be wrong.
People, think of it this way: licensing is a good thing. It gains more publicity for the authors you love and allows more people to enjoy their works. Maybe more of Yuki-sensei's works will be licensed in future. I was quite surprised that Viz licensed AS, as I was worried they'd find it too objectionable.
The French translation /is/ weird. Setsuna calls Kira "Sempai" (that was a bit jarring admid all the French), and instead of "Messiah", it's "l'Ange Salvateur". Shouldn't it be "le Messie"?

I'll explain how to get the files. As for how to link up to different servers and channel, if you don't know that, then i suggest you read the faq first.
Bascially, after you type !list in any manga channels, a list will come out. Most of them will have sumthing like Trigger:[/ctcp MangaBot MangaBot]. Bascially, type in exactly what's in the bracket and press enter. A window will pop up and ask you to get into a chat. Accept and wait till the server has connected (you'll know when), type "dir" and the server will show you the list of their files. If the files doesn't end in .zip or .rar etc. then it's a folder. To open folder, press cd [folder name]
eg. cd Angel Sanctuary
To get the zips you want, type get [whatever]
eg. get angel sanctuary vol01 ch01.zip and the server will tell u whether they have qued you up or not. If you're lucky, u can get the files straight away. If not, be patient. Wait.
To me, Mirc is like a gamble and test of luck. If you're lucky to get a stable and fast server, give yourself a pat on a back. If not, tough.
If you think getting files this way is slow, quit whining. The fastest is always http links but since it eats up bandwidth, not many people will be willing to host even 3 to 4 files, let alone the whole of Angel Sanctuary. You'll just have to deal with it.
About your BitTorrent problem. Are you saying you are trying to get Mirc to use BitTorrent? 'Cause Mirc and BitTorrent are 2 different things. As for BitTorrent going up to 172 hours, either your server's too slow or it was your luck. Sometimes BitTorrent is fast, sometimes way slow. You just have to download at the right time. Soz mate.
Well, hope that helps. I'm not a very good explainer.
